Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
Brown-eyed Susan. A short-lived perennial that more than earns its place in the border, bearing a profusion of small daisy flowerheads on wiry, branching stems. The flowers are characterful — dark conical centres surrounded by broad, reflexed yellow petals — and the display is remarkably long-lasting, beginning in midsummer and continuing well into late autumn. Preferring a position in full sun, it thrives in clay or loam soils and will naturalise happily, self-seeding freely once established.
