Scabiosa Kudo White ('Ichwit') (Kudo Series)

Bang on trend for transparent plants in the garden ’Kudo White’ is similar in form and scale to its better known sibling ‘Kudo’ but produces lots of antique white pincushion-like flowers that gradually open in succession over the course of a summer bobbing and weaving on wiry stems above divided basal foliage.

Perfect for the front of a sunny or partially shaded border it also works well in matrix planting schemes combined with ornamental grasses and contrasting flowerhead forms such as Achilleaand Eryngium.  Preferring a free draining soil, it is a good candidate for a gravel garden where its neat appearance can be showcased.  Remember to deadhead faded blooms to encourage more flowers.
