'Kudo White' is similar in form and scale to its better-known sibling 'Kudo' but produces masses of antique white pincushion flowers that open in succession throughout summer, bobbing and weaving on wiry stems above divided basal foliage — light and airy in a way that lets other plants show through.
Perfect for the front of a sunny or partially shaded border, it also combines beautifully with ornamental grasses and contrasting flowerhead shapes such as Achillea and Eryngium. It prefers free-draining soil and makes a good candidate for a gravel garden where its delicate habit can be showcased. Deadhead faded blooms to encourage more flowers.
