Commonly known as Rose Campion, Silene coronaria 'Alba' produces single, rounded white flowers throughout summer on tall branched stems above soft, hairy, grey leaves that form clumps at the base.
Although short-lived as a perennial, given the right conditions it will self-seed freely — a real bonus for those who love a little serendipity, as seedling plants pop up creating colour combinations all of their own. Deadhead to prolong flowering or to prevent it seeding around. Perfect for cottage gardens and gravel gardens.
