Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
Now for something rather unusual, a low lying Symphyotrichum that hugs the ground. 'Snow Flurry' is only ankle-high but from early to mid autumn it is smothered with petite white daisy flowers, almost to the extent of obscuring its mid-green foliage.
An obvious candidate for the front of a white border, why not include it in a planter or along the edge of a path to obscure any sharp edges and supress the weeds. For interest and contrast try combining it with taller forms of Hylotelephium and Stipa tenuissima. It does best in any fairly fertile, free-draining soil in the sun and once established becomes drought resistant.
