Symphyotrichum novae-angliae ‘Rudelsburg’ produces bright pink daisy flowers with fluffy orange centres on robust stems above mid-green, lance-shaped leaves. Its intensity of colour makes it one of the most vivid New England Asters in flower from late summer well into autumn.
It combines particularly well with ornamental grasses and Symphyotrichum novae-angliae ‘Andenken an Alma Pötschke’ for a rich late-season display that extends naturally into prairie-style planting. Attractive to butterflies and excellent as a cut flower, it thrives in moist, fertile soil in full sun or partial shade.

Care Guide:
Divide clumps every 3–4 years to maintain vigour — any time after flowering but spring is preferred. Cut back stems after flowering in autumn. Taller selections may require staking. Symphyotrichum novi-belgii cultivars benefit from good air circulation to help prevent mildew.
