Commonly known as Fringe Cups, Tellima grandiflora bears small, understated, highly fragrant, fringed cup-shaped flowers on upright stems above a mound of green, lobed, rounded foliage in early summer.
A plant that deserves to be placed near a frequently used path or seating area where its scent can be fully enjoyed. Best in a moisture-retentive soil in a shady location — a superb choice for under-planting roses and shrubs.
