Commonly known as Meadow Rue, Thalictrum isopyroides is a charming dwarf species from Central Asia with delightful blue-green, Aquilegia-like foliage beneath delicate greenish-yellow inflorescences that appear in early summer.
A great edging perennial for borders and pathways in full sun or partial shade, it requires well-drained soil to flourish. Compact and easy to grow, it is an unusual and elegant choice for the front of a border, a gravel garden, or a raised trough where its fine foliage can be appreciated up close.
