Commonly known as Shining Meadow Rue, Thalictrum lucidum produces fluffy, greenish-yellow inflorescences in summer above divided, blue-green, lance-shaped leaflets. The airy flower heads are attractive to bees and other pollinators.
It flourishes in a sunny site with moisture-retentive soil and is well suited to the middle or back of a border. It may self-seed freely — deadhead after flowering if you wish to keep it in check.
