Thalictrum rochebruneanum

In summer, lilac buds open to reveal elegant flowers with striking yellow-cream stamens, held on tall stems above finely divided, fern-like foliage. A fantastically architectural plant for woodland gardens and mixed borders. In very rich soils it may need staking. Plant in full sun or partial shade in a humus-rich soil — it dislikes very dry conditions.
