Commonly known as Sulphur Clover, Trifolium ochroleucon is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial producing rounded, pale lemon flowerheads above fresh, trifoliate foliage throughout early summer.
Its pale lemon flowerheads are an excellent nectar source, attracting bees and butterflies throughout early summer — a natural choice for wildlife gardens, meadow-style plantings, and low-maintenance borders. Cut back after the first flush to encourage a second. Thrives in sun or dappled shade in any reasonably fertile, well-drained soil.
