Trollius × cultorum 'Helios'

This is a moisture loving perennial ideally suited to heavy clay and waterside plantings or in bogs and other moisture retentive areas, in full sun or partial shade. Flowering from late spring into summer it provides pops of the brightest most cheerful yellow over dissected mid-green foliage. The flowers are globular, giving rise to the common name of Globe flower.

Cut spent stems back to the base to encourage repeat flowering. A very attractive plant for encouraging bees and other pollinators.
