Uvularia grandiflora commonly known as Merry Bells or Bellwort is a woodland plant from the eastern side of North America. It's arching stems produces vibrant yellow, hanging, bell-like flowers in spring. Root rhizomes creep slowly to form small clumps. Best grown in shade or partial shade in a moist, humus-rich, but well-drained soil, preferably with an acid to neutral pH.
Uvularia is perfect for woodland gardens .The dark green lance-shaped foliage associates well with Hostas and ferns. Cool shady beds and borders are also ideal.
