Veronicastrum 'Red Arrows'

Deep red stems clothed in lance-shaped, serrated green leaves make ‘Red Arrows’ a plant of distinction even before it flowers. In autumn, spikes of red buds open to reveal beautiful purple flowers — a striking combination that brings real presence to the back of a border late in the season.

A wildlife-friendly plant that attracts many pollinators, it thrives in any reasonable, moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
