The Plant Fairs Roadshow returns to West Dean Gardens for the second time! Set at the foot of the South Downs, historic West Dean is home to one of the finest walled kitchen gardens in the country, alongside the traditional Edwardian Pergola, Sunken Garden, Victorian Glasshouses and a more experimental drought-tolerant meadow.
Explore nursery stalls at one of the best times for planting, then take time to discover the 49-acre St. Roche’s Arboretum — a brisk two-and-a-half-mile circuit walk with breathtaking views across the Sussex Downs.
A wonderful day out for all the family. Browse the Gatehouse for unusual gifts, garden accessories and West Dean grown plants, and finish your visit at the Gardens Kitchen with delicious home-cooked food using produce from the kitchen garden.
