Salvia 'Hot Lips'

Height x Spread: 50cm x 45cm

Masses of white flowers with red lips are carried on narrow stems with fragrant, small green leaves. Native to Mexico this sub-shrub will flower throughout the summer and all the way into autumn, attracting bees and other pollinators in their droves.

Hardly shy and retiring, it demands to be planted where its striking flowers can be best enjoyed. It combines beautifully with purples, blues and pale pinks. It is half-hardy in colder areas; we suggest that you plant it in a container and move it to a sheltered location to over-winter. 'Hot Lips' prefers a light, free draining soil in full sun. Ideal for coastal locations.

H5 - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters (-15 to -10)

Available for Mail Order from April - August
