The weather and hosepipe ban means we should sit back and enjoy the garden in the long summer evenings. There's nothing better than sipping a cocktail or mocktail with herbs cut from your own garden. Here we share our top 5 Garden-to-Glass Cocktails Using Herbs You Can Grow.

It's Gold at RHS Badminton. This was the first RHS show at Badminton Estate, most famously known for its horse trials. The show had all the RHS ingredients: show gardens, pocket planting, talks, demos, and of course the Floral Marquee.
Here's a few snaps of our stand, and our Rob with our RHS Gold Medal.

Gardening Tips for July
Watering. See our guide to keeping your garden going during a hosepipe ban
Lawns. Ignore the lawn. Don't cut it. It will bounce back.
Deadheading. Continue to deadhead as this is good for the plant, and it will encourage the plant to produce more flower.
Containers. If your pots are struggling, move them to a cooler place and group them together — this raises the local air humidity around the plants and means foliage shades the compost surface, reducing moisture loss.
Seeds. Now is the time to collect seeds. Keep an eye out as things ripen. Keep seeds in an envelope or brown paper bag.
Weeds. Use a hoe if you need to weed as this will knock out small weeds and will not disturb the soil too much. In hot weather soil disturbance should be kept to a minimum.
Stake plants if they're getting tall or blown about. Coppiced hazel twigs can offer great support.
