Centranthus ruber 'Albus'

Commonly known as Valerian, Centranthus ruber 'Albus' produces stunning clusters of pure white flowers held on upright stems throughout the summer. Broad lance-shaped waxy green leaves cover the equally waxy stems. The flowers are great for pollinators.

It is a vigorous grower which will seed around, it's happy to grow in poor, nutrient deficient soils in full sun or partial shade and is commonly seen growing in coastal areas. The perfect choice for a wildlife garden or cottage garden.
