Crested Japanese Painted Fern.
A deciduous fern. The greyish green and mauve fronds are heavily crested to give them distinctive crinkled ends. Performs best when planted in a fertile, moisture retentive but free draining soil. It dislikes alkaline soils and requires a sheltered site in partial shade.
