Commonly known as the Snow Rush, Luzula nivea is a bushy, spreading, evergreen perennial. A loose clump of broad grass-like green foliage hosts clusters of small white flowerheads during late spring.
Snow Rush thrives in dense and dappled shade in moist soils. A superb plant for bog situations. Perfect under-planter for trees and shrubs and for your borders and beds. It will tolerate sun providing that the soil is kept moist.
