Achillea filipendulina 'Cloth of Gold'

In summer large, bright yellow flowers adorn this reliable, older variety of Yarrow, carried high on tall stems over fern-like green foliage.
It is a really good structural plant for the middle to back of a border, as it's much taller and more statuesque than other varieties of Achillea. Easy to grow, it will make large bold clumps which will require division every 2 to 3 years in early spring or late autumn. This uncomplicated plant thrives in sun or part shade in any soil.
