Description
Actaea simplex 'Pink Spike'
Height x Spread: 120cm x 50cm
Tall spikes of cream to pink sweetly-scented flowers are produced in autumn which contrast well with the deep purple divided foliage.
No staking is required. Moisture retentive good soil is necessary to grow these plants successfully. Best grown in dappled shade to help maintain its deep, dark colour but tolerant of a slightly sunnier position than the green leaved forms, morning or late afternoon sun will be fine but avoid very hot areas of the garden.
