Anthriscus sylvestris

Common cow parsley. Tall white umbel flowers in spring with bright green fernlike foliage, which looks wonderful as part of a wildflower meadow or wildlife garden. Also, stands out in a woodland glade. Biennial. It thrives in either partial shade or sun in any free draining soil. It is advisable to deadhead if you want to prevent prolific self-seeding.
