Description
Astrantia major 'Florence'PBR
Height x Spread: 55cm x 40cm
This plant's pale purple-pink flowers like small pincushions look so delicate, but in fact they are tough and last for a long period of time. Flowering from early summer through to autumn, these plants are well worthwhile growing. Much sought after by florists too, for their ability to cut and dry well for displays.
They make tidy clumps and will grow in sun or part shade without much attention. The soils are better if they are slightly heavier, or at least moisture retentive.
