Campanula lactiflora 'Prichard's Variety'

Commonly known as Milky Bellflower, this perennial has upright, branching stems which bear clusters of stunning violet star-like bellflowers that appear from midsummer through until autumn. This clump-forming perennial has bright green leaves with a slightly serrated edge.
'Pritchard's Variety' grows best in fertile soil which has a neutral to alkaline pH. When planting this popular cottage garden perennial in your borders ensure that you pick a spot in partial shade, it will tolerate some sun during the course of the day. Apply a layer of mulch to keep plants both moist in summer and well fed. Stake plants in exposed areas.
