Disporopsis pernyi
Height x Spread: 45cm x 50cm
This lovely evergreen plant produces small, lemon-scented white flowers with gently flaring green tips above pairs of dark green lance-shaped leaves along its upright stems. Naturally found in mountain forests at high-altitude in China.
This unusual plant is great for shady woodland areas where it will slowly spread to form colonies. It is best to remove old stems in spring once the new stems have started to emerge. This plant will thrive in any fertile, well-drained soil in the shade or part shade. Once established it can tolerate drier conditions if watered occasionally.
