Disporum longistylum 'Night Heron'
Height x Spread: 120cm x 100cm
This elegant woodlander was introduced by the American plantsman Dan Hinkley. Tall, upright, branching bamboo like stems gently curve at their tops, bearing creamy-green to white hanging bell-shaped flowers at their tips in spring.
Best when grown in humus-rich soil in partial shade. The evergreen, purple bronze foliage of this plant and its beautiful architectural form would make it a worthy specimen plant to be grown in a container in a semi-shady location.
