Geranium asphodeloides
Height x Spread: 40cm x 50cm
This adaptable herbaceous perennial thrives in sun or part shade on any soil except that which is prone to waterlogging. It makes a spreading clump of small rounded leaves and produces large numbers of small pink or white flowers with deep red veins. After flowering, cut the plant back to encourage the production of a second flush of flowers.
Established clumps can be divided in early spring . It is hardy to -15 degrees C and has no preference when it comes to soil pH. Happy growing in either partial shade or full sun, in a moisture retentive yet free draining soil.
Ideal for use as ground cover or underplanting as well as in rock or gravel gardens, informal, cottage, woodland edge schemes or beds and borders. Beneficial pollinators are drawn to the flowers.
