Geum rivale 'Cream Drop'
Height x Spread: 30cm x 30cm
Large, pale yellow flowers with wavy petals gently open up and straighten from the initial hanging buds held on short, hairy stems over mounds of basal mid green foliage.
This large flowered form of Geum rivale is much sought after by designers, as it will help illuminate lightly shaded areas in woodlands and makes great mass planting for damp but not waterlogged areas, such as adjacent to a stream. The foliage is most useful for ground cover. It prefers to be planted in a moderately fertile, moisture retentive soil in sun or light shade.
