Aster savatieri
Height x Spread: 50cm x 50cm
Delicate single palest lilac to white daisy flowers with striking yellow centres are carried on branching stems with fuzzy green foliage.
Commonly known as the 'naked aster', this plant can be hard to find in the UK but is very useful. We love it for its ability to thrive in a site in partial shade with reasonably moist, free draining soil, which other flowering plants might struggle in. It can cope with more sun too. Easy to grow, it makes an excellent cut flower. Butterflies find it irresistible.
