This is a compact mound forming, semi-evergreen perennial, with dark blue-green foliage and large sprays of small fluffy semi-double white flowers in Summer. To extend the season of interest deadhead regularly to encourage the production of new flowers. 

Best planted in full sun in free draining, neutral to alkaline soil, ensure it does not sit in Winter wet. Generally pest free but too much water can cause root rot. This is an ideal plant to contend with the effects of climate change as it is drought tolerant once established. 

Ideal for Mediterranean, cottage, courtyard, city and informal planting schemes, it is also a popular cut flower. Hardy to  -10 degrees C.
