Height x Spread: 50cm x 40cm
An elegant Penstemon with slender creamy-white flowers like miniature trombones that dangle in small clusters along slim upright stems. Bushy in habit, its narrow, pale green foliage gently contrasts with the delicate blooms.
It is a perfect choice for a cool themed garden, combining beautifully with soft pinks, whites and fresh greens, but also very useful for adding highlights to richer toned schemes. Long flowering from summer into mid autumn, it looks beautiful planted in naturalistic swathes towards the front of a border. Great for attracting pollinating insects, it resistant to powdery mildew too.
It prefers a sunny or partially shaded spot in nutrient rich, free draining soil.
H4 - Hardy through most of the UK (-10 to -5)
