Heuchera 'Obsidian'PBR
Height x Spread: 25cm x 45cm
Heuchera is otherwise known as Alum Root. H.'Obsidian's glossy, lobed leaves are deep purple, almost black. It has a clump-forming habit, creating a low mound of foliage. Sprays of small cream flowers appear during summer.
It is a great plant for the front of your flower beds or borders or for under-planting trees and shrubs. 'Obsidian' also works well in containers, it's strikingly dark leaves create the perfect contrast for plants with pale coloured foliage or flowers. Heuchera are happy to grow in sun or partial-shade, in any reasonably good soil, avoid very hot areas of the garden as their leaves are prone to being scorched by the sun.
