Helenium 'Kanaria'
Height x Spread: 120cm x 60cm
As its name suggests this variety of 'Sneezeweed' boasts canary yellow daisy flowers that tilt cheerfully at the sun from summer into late autumn.
Taller than most Helenium and with larger flowers, it is a great choice for injecting colour and panache into a 'hot' or sunny border, bridging the potentially difficult 'August' period when some gardens start to look tired. It looks just as wonderful planted in drifts and combined with dark ornamental grasses in a prairie-style scheme. Much beloved by bees, its seed heads are a valuable food for birds. Easy to grow in sun or part shade in most good soils.
