Lamium orvala
Height x Spread: 50cm x 30cm
Commonly known as Balm-Leaved Red Dead-Nettle, in late spring large tubular whorled dark pink flowers bloom. The two-lipped flowers have white markings. A clump of green heart-shaped foliage with a serrated margin lasts throughout the seasons.
Great for shade loving areas especially your borders and beds providing they have humus-rich soils. Sheltered areas are preferred. This plant will flourish in woodlands and is ideal for under planting deciduous shrubs.
