Geranium magniflorum

An unusual evergreen Geranium with dainty almost filigree-like grey green foliage above which bob delicate sprays of purple veined pinky-lilac flowers in summer.
Native to the Drakensberg Mountains of South Africa, this alpine gem is good and tough, forming gently spreading mounds that will never offend but perhaps surprise, with its purple tints in winter. Plant it where you can enjoy its delicacy best such as in a rock garden, trough or a pocket of a stone wall. For the best results grow it in free draining soil in full sun.
