Liriope muscari 'Monroe White'

A striking form of Lilyturf that quickly forms clumps of lush, mid green grass-like foliage from which vertical spikes clustered with tiny white flowers that open from bobble-like buds appear in autumn. 

A 'go-to' plant for many designers for its versatility in the garden, enhancing both contemporary courtyard and informal cottage planting, its main boon to gardeners is that it is evergreen and thrives in deep shade.  So a great plant for illuminating gloomier areas of your plot and a shoe-in for a white garden, adding highlights when other earlier flowering plants have started to fade.  Preferring any fairly fertile reasonable soil that is acidic, once established it becomes more drought resistant too.
