Paeonia lactiflora 'Bowl of Beauty'
Height x Spread: 100cm x 80cm
‘Bowl of Beauty’ flowers in early summer, it has a goblet shaped outer ring of large, deep pink petals and a central cluster of creamy scented petaloids.
Shallow planting is the key with these plants and they do best in humus rich, fertile soil that is moist but well-drained, in full sun or part shade. They have no preference for a particular pH but make sure the site is sheltered, as strong winds can damage the large, heavy flowers.
Harmful if eaten.
