Paeonia lactiflora 'Karl Rosenfield'
Height x Spread: 80cm x 60cm
Wine-red buds open to striking magenta-pink flowers in summer. This plant has glossy green divided lance-shaped foliage, which turns bronze later in the season, it will die back naturally and can be cut back to ground level in the autumn.
These eye catching, prized blooms will grow happily in your borders and flower beds in a sunny location and reasonably good, free-draining soil. When planting Paeonia make sure that you don't plant them too deeply as this will inhibit their flowering.
All parts of this plant are toxic.
