Phlox paniculata 'Rosa Pastell'
Height x Spread: 100cm x 60cm
The dark stems of 'Rosa Pastell' contrast well with its green lance-shaped leaves, and also with the stunning pale salmon pink flowers. These scented blooms, which have a darker pink eye, burst onto the scene during the summer.
Full sun or partial shade is the preferred situation for this perennial, with any reasonably good soil. If you want to prolong flowering you should carry out some deadheading during the summer. As with all Perennial Phlox, it should be divided every three to four years during the autumn or spring to maintain vigour. It is a hungry perennial and will appreciate a mulch of well-rotted manure or garden compost.
