The popularity of Heuchera continues unabated and for good reason, offering reliability and year round interest.  We think 'Plum Pudding' is one of the best with dusky reddish-plum leaves frosted with silver and masses of slender dark reddish-blue stems carrying small creamy flowers in summer.  

Perfect for adding a dramatic dark flourish to the front of a border or container, especially when combined with silver foliage, pale pinks and purples, it also makes a great ground cover plant.  Easy to grow in sun or part shade, it bulks up quickly in a fertile good soil.  The plant has a habit of lifting itself out of the ground as it develops but responds well to being lifted and replanted in late summer.
