Geranium 'Red Admiral'
Height x Spread: 60cms x 50cms
Despite the name, the flowers on this taller Geranium are not red. In fact, they are deep pink with a darker centre and black veins. The red in the title refers to the foliage of this mound forming perennial. Green from spring into summer, it turns an intense shade of red in the autumn.
Happy in any reasonable soil in sun or shade, this tough and adaptable plant needs little care. To prolong flowering, cut back any spent stems and new ones will shoot from the base. Flowering from July to October this deciduous plant can be split in early Spring once it reaches maturity.
