Campanula rotundifolia white
Height x Spread: 30cm x 25cm
This form of 'Harebell' or 'Scottish bluebell' produces lots of particularly clear white bell-shaped flowers that contrast well with its fresh green foliage. Reliable and long flowering from mid summer into autumn it is a good candidate for a smaller garden where every plant must work hard to earn its place.
Perfect too for refreshing a border or white garden when earlier flowering plants are starting to flag, its preference for a reasonable to well-drained soil and sun to part shade increase its versatility. It is as happy in a planter as a gravel garden, its nectar-rich flowers attracting pollinators in their droves.
