Trifolium rubens 'Frosty Feathers'
Height x Spread: 60cm x 30cm
With its large dense feathery flower heads that open from their base upwards, this pure white clover cultivar captures your attention, its blooms contrasting well with green trifoliate leaves.
From early summer through to early autumn with regular deadheading it just keeps on flowering, its nectar rich blooms drawing the bees in. A shoe-in for a sunny wildlife garden or meadow, it will more than earn its place in a cottage or cutting garden. Undemanding and easy to grow, it positively thrives in a fairly fertile, reasonable soil, but usefully can also tolerate a poor, drier soil.
