Ligusticopsis wallichiana
Height x Spread: 120cm x 60cm
Commonly known as 'Wallich Milk Parsley', it carries large white umbel flowers that resemble Cow Parsley. Branching strong stems tinged red at their base have tiered lace-like green foliage. Delivering a wonderfully delicate combination of flower and foliage during the summer it also adds texture and lightness to the middle of a border.
Naturalistic in appearance, it suits a more informal planting scheme such as a woodland or cottage garden, but allow space around it to admire its strong architectural form. Don't forget to include it in a wildlife garden to attract a range of insects. It grows best in a reasonably rich, free draining soil that retains some moisture, in full sun or part shade
Synonyms: Selinum wallichianum
