Silene coronaria 'Alba'
Height x Spread: 100cm x 60cm
Commonly known as the White-Flowered Rose Campion, single rounded white flowers are produced throughout the summer. Simple soft hairy grey leaves form clumps at the base of tall stalks, which bear the flowers.
Although this is a short lived perennial given the right conditions it will self-seed freely, a real bonus for those who love a little bit of serendipity, as seedling plants pop up creating colour combinations all of their own. Keep deadheading to prolong flowering and if desired to prevent the plant from seeding around. Perfect for cottage gardens and gravel gardens.
Available for Mail Order from April - September
