Tellima grandiflora

Commonly known as Fringe Cups, Tellima grandiflora bears small, understated, highly fragrant, fringed cup-shaped flowers held on upright stems above a mound of green, lobed rounded foliage, during early summer.
This is a plant which deserves to be planted near to a frequently used path or close to a seating area where its scent can be enjoyed. Best when planted in a moisture-retentive soil and a shady location - a superb plant for under-planting roses and shrubs.
