Thermopsis lanceolata
Height x Spread: 90cm x 90cm
Commonly known as the False Lupin, Thermopsis lanceolata has striking yellow, lupin-like flowers held on erect upright stems, in late spring. These are followed by attractive seedpods.
Any well-drained, reasonably good soil is ideal for this perennial. Preferring sun but tolerant of light shade this plant makes a beautiful addition to flower borders; it is loved by bees and other pollinators. Established plants resent root disturbance.
