Geranium macrorrhizum 'White-Ness'
Height x Spread: 30cm x 40cm
An unusual evergreen Geranium, 'White-Ness' is distinguished by its sprays of pure white flattish flowers with distinctive long stamens, that stand proudly above ankle-high gently spreading clumps of fresh green foliage.
Graceful and carefree, the flowers appear in early summer and can last until July. Its fresh colour combination makes it an obvious consideration for a white garden, but its ability to tolerate partial shade as well as sun increases its versatility. It would look lovely planted in swathes through a cottage or wildlife garden, not only attracting pollinators but also helping to suppress weeds. Low maintenance and easy to grow, it performs well in a reasonable, free draining soil.
