Eurybia radula 'August Sky'
Height x Spread: 60cm x 45cm
A new cultivar to the nursery in 2018, 'August Sky' really stands out from the crowd with its prolific late season display of starry violet-purple flowers with yellow centres on neat compact plants.
Reclassified from Aster to Eurybia, it is still likely to retain its common name 'Michaelmas Daisy', but this daisy flower happily thrives in partial shade as well as sun, if planted in a good, moist but well-drained soil. A great candidate for a cottage garden or mixed herbaceous border, definitely consider it for your wildlife garden too as bees and butterflies love it.
