Erigeron karvinskianus — also known as Mexican fleabane or Erigeron profusion — is one of the most versatile and free-spirited perennials for a sunny garden. Its small daisy flowers open white, age to soft pink, and deepen to lilac-pink as they mature, creating a continuous, multi-toned display from late spring right through to late autumn. An RHS Award of Garden Merit holder, it thrives even in really poor, free-draining soils.
Equally at home cascading from a container, edging a path, or spreading as ground cover beneath shrubs and roses, it self-seeds gently into walls and paving — and any unwanted seedlings are easily removed.
