Who could resist the small daisy flowers of ERIGERON karvinskianus. For many this plant evokes happy memories of summer holidays spent in Cornwall or possibly Mexico from where it hails.
You will see this plant clinging to walls, tumbling down steps and where it is allowed, playfully popping up between the crevices in paving. It is the perfect plant for softening all those hard edges. Erigeron karvinskianus produces a profusion of flowers from May until September. Each perfect daisy flower opens white and then slowly turns to pink giving the whole plant a distinctly two tone appearance.
It’s a ‘must have’ for all who wish to create a cottage garden or for those who wish to provide a rich source of nectar and pollen for bees, butterflies, moths and many insects
